Fax and OCR are not working properly
The fax and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) functionality in your All-In-One is provided by a separate application. Make sure:
- You install the Fax and OCR software. The Lexmark Extras folder that comes with the All-In-One software CD contains the ABBYY FineReader 5 Sprint. Go to Install the All-In-One add-on software.
- Your fax and OCR applications have been added to the Application List Setup. See Edit the Application List Setup.
- Your computer is connected to a phone line. A phone connection is required for faxing to work.
- You have a working fax modem installed in your computer.
- The fax driver you want to use is the default fax driver in the Print Center.
- You see the application Help for more information.
