Print borderless photos

With your All-In-One, you can produce professional-looking, edge-to-edge photo prints without having to go to the photo shop.

From your software application, set the page margins to zero, and then adjust the image on screen so that it covers the entire page.

Note:

Some applications do not support margin setting.

Load photo or glossy paper.
Customize the settings in the Page Setup dialog.
1. From the software application, click File Page Setup.
2. From the Format for pop-up menu, choose 5200 Series.
3. From the Settings pop-up menu, choose Page Attributes.
4. Choose a paper size. Paper and card sizes supported by borderless printing are:
  - US Letter (Borderless)
  - A4 (Borderless)
  - A5 (Borderless)
  - A6 Card (Borderless)
  - US 5 x 7 Photo (Borderless)
  - US 3 1/2 x 5 Card (Borderless)
  - US 4 x 6 Photo (Borderless)
  - US 4 x 6 Card (Borderless)
  - Hagaki Postcard (Borderless)
  - L Photo (Borderless)
  - 2L Photo (Borderless)
5. Select an orientation.
6. Click OK.

Customize the settings in the Print dialog.

From the software application, click File Print.
From the Printer pop-up menu, choose 5200 Series.

From the pop-up menu in the upper left corner, choose Quality & Media.

Choose a paper type.

Note:

Your All-In-One has a Paper type sensor. If Automatic is not chosen in the Paper Type pop-up menu, choose Glossy/Photo.

Select a print quality. Click Automatic, or Photo.

Note:

When set to Automatic, your All-In-One prints the document using the print quality specified for the paper type loaded. You can Select a print quality other than Automatic.

Click Print.

To prevent smudging, print your photos one at a time. Remove each photo as it exits into the Paper exit tray.

To improve the quality of your photos, go to Enhance photograph print quality.
