GLOBAL SOURCING ANALYST

Business Area: Hardware Manufacturing and Development Operations

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

Responsible in supporting the Global Sourcing organization with essential and critical information on the following areas:

>Market, Supplier information and Spend Analysis

>Global Sourcing Process & System Analysis

>Procurement System (ARIBA) Subject Matter Expert on specific functionality to support the Global sourcing organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring relevant information using the ARIBA Procurement System capability and functionality that is needed by the Global Sourcing Organization.
  • Create and generate scheduled reports on various Global Sourcing dashboards using Power BI.
  • Retrieve and maintain Market and Supplier Intelligence tools such as Beroe, Gartner, etc. and other public domain information such as Supplier Annual Reports, Industry and General News.
  • Support benchmarking activities by the Global Sourcing team.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
  • Report on a regular basis key performance metrics of its function.
  • Participate in various workshops that support and provide direction to Functional Buyers in achieving regional Purchasing Targets.
  • Lead groups of internal customers in developing action plans to improve Global Sourcing’s service and reduce total cost of operation.

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Accounting System/Computer Application Skills:
    • Knowledgeable in Procurement system (ARIBA) programs and applications.
    • Able to execute intermediate excel functions and complex calculations spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Communicates to deliver high quality and value-added recommendations based on accurate and objective interpretation of needs of the intended audience.
    • Excellent communication skills will facilitate and initiate team and group discussions.
    • Provides meaningful reporting to management in a timely and effective manner.
    • Able to connect well with Global Sourcing stakeholders and influence them in both execution and improvements.

Education, Experience & Certifications Basic Requirements:

  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business, Management Accounting or any other business- related courses or engineering courses.
  • Training on Supply Management is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work on a 2nd Shift schedule.
