BUILD AND TEST LEAD

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

The Strategic Programs and New Offer Build & Test Lead play a key role within Lexmark Services Operation. One of the functions includes coordinating and ensuring quality delivery of business needs and requirements. 

The position entails working across various global organizations, requiring cross-functional collaboration and high visibility. The successful candidate will facilitate cross-functional teams that are responsible for the build and test of end-to-end operational solutions supporting Lexmark Strategic Programs including D365 implementations. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to lead teams in the prioritization and testing of key Services Operations systems and reporting deliverables supporting the launch of key Lexmark Programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Managers, develop Test Strategies and Plans
  • Work with Process Architects, understand business requirements and identify business scenarios for testing
  • Schedule and facilitate execution, all levels of business and User Acceptance testing
  • Defect management and retest
  • Adjust testing schedule and/or approach as needed based on results and feedback
  • Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
  • Analyze test results and test metrics
  • Prepare, Review and Present test reports
  • Collaborate and coordinate closely with other team members and departments
  • Report progress, risks, and issue to Strategic Programs Implementation Manager

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Experience participating in projects with enterprise systems and across multi-functions
  • Strong communication skills at all levels – executive, cross-functional, and project team – and functional areas including SW and Solutions, IT, Services Operations, and Sales Operations. This includes facilitation of status meetings, business workshops, customer-facing demos, and executive presentations.
  • Basic understanding of MPS operational processes
  • Experience in gathering and soliciting business/process/customer requirements
  • Must have strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project skills

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years' working experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with software testing and/or quality management
  • 2+ years of experience managing test plans in test management platform
  • Knowledge in Agile project development
