Print on coated or premium paper

Try printing on various paper types other than plain paper. Different types of paper accept ink differently and print with slight color variations.

  1. Load coated or premium paper.
  2. Customize the settings in the Page Setup dialog.
    1. From the software application, click File  Page Setup.
    2. From the Settings pop-up menu, choose Page Attributes.
    3. From the Format for pop-up menu, choose 5200 Series.
    4. Choose a paper size.
    Print borderless photos by choosing any of the paper sizes supported by borderless printing.
    1. Select an orientation.
    2. Click OK.
  3. Customize the settings in the Print dialog.
    1. From the software application, click File  Print.
    2. From the Printer pop-up menu, choose 5200 Series.
    3. From the pop-up menu in the upper left corner, choose Quality & Media.
    4. Click Print.

Print photos one at a time when you are printing on coated or premium paper. Remove each photo as it exits the printer to avoid smudging. The Paper exit tray holds 25 sheets of coated or premium paper.
