Select a printer

From the Printer Selection dialog, you can select the printer you want to use.

1. Open the 5200 Series Utility.
2. From the menu bar, choose Advanced.

The Advanced menu displays.

3. Choose Select Printer.

The Printer Selection dialog displays. From here, you can:

• Configure. Enter or change the IP address of the selected printer if your printer is shown. Select it from the list on the Printer Selection dialog and then click Configure. To configure additional printers, go to Configure a network printer.
• Add Remote. If your printer is not shown, select Add Remote. Go to Add a remote network printer.
• Use Shared. Use a printer connected to another computer on Mac OS X version 10.2 or later.

Note:

Printer maintenance for shared printers should be performed on the host computer.
