Cloning an image

Repeating an image several times on one page

From the control panel

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
  3. Press Mode until the Copy light comes on.
  4. Press Menu. The Copy menu appears.
  5. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Repeat Image. Press Select.
  6. Use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to specify how many copied images you want on each page. The options are 1x, 4x, 9x, or 16x. Press Select.
  7. Press Color or Black.

From the Lexmark 4300 Series Center

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass, or open previously scanned images from your computer.
  3. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
  4. Customize the settings in the Copy tab.
  5. Click Preview/Edit to open the Copy dialog.
  6. Select the Finishing tab.
  7. From the Layout area, click Clone.
  8. Choose the number of images you want printed on one page. The options are 2 prints, 3 prints, 4 prints, and 8 prints.
  9. Select Print page borders if you want to print a border around each image.
  10. Customize the copy settings in the Settings and Adjustment tabs as needed.
  11. When everything is set to your satisfaction on the preview window, click Copy.
