Printing a poster

You can enlarge a single-page image, and then print it on multiple pages to create a poster.

From the control panel

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
  3. Press Mode until the Copy light comes on.
  4. Press Page Preview.
  5. Press Resize, and then use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to scroll through the resize values. The options are 2x2 Poster, 3x3 Poster, or 4x4 Poster.
  6. Press Color or Black.
  7. Assemble the poster.

From the Lexmark 4300 Series Center

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
  3. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
  4. Select the Copy tab and customize the settings.
  5. Click Preview/Edit to open the Copy dialog.
  6. Select the Finishing tab.
  7. From the Layout area, click Poster.
  8. Choose a poster size from the pop-up menu. The options are 2x2 (four pages), 3x3 (nine pages), and 4x4 (16 pages).
  9. Select Print crop marks to have a guide in trimming and assembling the poster.
  10. Further customize the copy settings in the Settings and Adjustment tabs.
  11. When everything is set to your satisfaction on the preview image, click Copy.
  12. Assemble the poster.
