Paper type sensor

Your printer has a paper type sensor that detects the following paper types and automatically adjusts the paper type setting in the Print dialog:

Note:

For multi-page jobs, the printer assumes the subsequent pages are the same type as the first sheet detected.

By default, the paper type is set to Automatic.

To turn off the paper type sensor and manually choose your paper type:

From the software application, choose File Print....
From the Printer pop-up menu, choose 810 Series.
From the pop-up menu in the upper left corner, choose Quality & Media.
From the Paper Type pop-up menu, choose your preferred paper type other than Automatic.
Click Print.

Note: Although the printer can detect the type of paper you are using, it cannot detect the paper size. Make sure you use Paper sizes supported by your printer.
