Lexmark joins the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s “Circular Economy 100”

• Lexmark becomes a member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s “Circular Economy 100”, a global platform that brings together innovative businesses to address the issues around the transition to the circular economy model.
• The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s “Circular Economy 100” program was created to support companies as they seek to unlock the commercial opportunities that arise through such factors as designing products for re-use, new or enhanced recovery models and the introduction of new business models that promote greater circularity.
• Lexmark joins 100 market-leading companies in the program which was founded on the principle that more value can be gained through collaborative working than can be achieved alone.
• This prestigious membership recognises Lexmark’s ongoing engagement with the circular economy. Since 1991 Lexmark has provided its customers with easy methods to return their used laser supplies through its Lexmark Cartridge Collection Program (LCCP). Free collection services are available in more than 60 countries, representing more than 90% of Lexmark’s global market. 
• Thanks to its customers’ returns, Lexmark has been able to dramatically increase the use of post-consumer recycled content in its toner cartridge and to launch the Corporate Cartridge, Lexmark’s greenest line of toner cartridges.
