The Healthcare industry manager is a global customer-facing position that is an expert in their industry and helps Perceptive Software to leverage its industry expertise to differentiate Perceptive Software in the market and help match customers’ needs and requirements with Perceptive Software’s capabilities to provide them value-added solutions.  They bring together industry expertise, customer intimacy, solutions knowledge and creativity to make this happen.  This role requires working across all of Perceptive Software at a global level highlighting the full Perceptive Software portfolio and capabilities to our customers.

Industry Expertise:

  • Global Subject matter expert on the healthcare industry
  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of trends, directions, business processes and key issues within Healthcare
  • Develop and maintain understanding of the market within their industry including composition of market, concentration, path to market, companies and competitors
  • Maintain specific knowledge of capabilities of Perceptive Software products, software, services and solutions and how they apply to healthcare opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep level of understanding of how decision making is done in healthcare
  • Develop Perceptive Software assets to highlight Perceptive Software’s expertise and experience in the industry and training materials
  • Develop and maintain business process maps and maintaining domain expertise

Customer Focus:

  • Listen to customers to identify, validate and document customer requirements, pain points, processes and opportunities utilizing a formal process
  • Defining the top global companies and organizations within the industry and maintain detailed information regarding Perceptive Software’s penetration and opportunities in such accounts across Perceptive Software’s products and solutions
  • Convey Perceptive Software’s value proposition, portfolio of capabilities, differentiators and messaging through various forums and customer engagements
  • Engage with customers to provide industry-specific support to high level customer engagements
  • Identify significant areas of repeatable Perceptive Software opportunities across the industry
  • Advise Geo teams on strategies to generate opportunities within the industry
  • Lead the process to define Enterprise customers to be on the sales territory lists for the industry by Geo and Worldwide
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to the Geo teams
  • As needed, work with account teams on their global account strategy for top industry accounts
  • Solutions Development and Management:
  • Responsible for influencing industry solutions roadmap
  • Research and analyze new solutions opportunities by assessing market needs and developing opportunity assessments
  • Initiate and monitor launch process working with project managers from marketing, development and other functional areas
  • For new opportunities, responsible for documenting the opportunity, developing business case and valuing the opportunity for Perceptive Software working within a defined solutions process
  • Act as the content owner for industry-specific solutions and work with Marketing to produce required sales and marketing deliverables

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

  • Experience required in face to face interaction with customers
  • 15 years industry experience
  • Services, software and/or solutions experience
  • Experience in presenting to executive level and in large audiences
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving
  • High level of business acumen
  • Ability to get along well with diverse personalities and experience – flexible and change adaptive
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate high impact messages and complex ideas in an effective, concise fashion in both verbal and written format
  • Ability to collaborate with global cross functional and cross divisional teams to design and develop strategic solutions
  • Self-motivated, take initiative and work in a team-oriented global environment
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Ability to work creatively as an individual contributor remotely in a virtual home office environment.

Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel
