Performing basic copying tasks
From the control panel
- Load paper into the paper support.
- Load an original document on the scanner glass.
- Press Mode until the Copy light comes on.
- To view the document on the control panel display, press Page Preview.
- To enlarge or reduce the image, press Resize. Use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to choose a preset enlargement or reduction value. Press Select.
- To print more than one copy, press Number of Copies. Use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to scroll through the numbers. Press Select.
- Press Menu to open the Copy menu. Adjust the settings as needed.
- Press Color or Black.

From the Lexmark 4300 Series Center
- Load paper into the paper support.
- Load an original document on the scanner glass.
- Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
- Select the Copy tab, and customize the settings.
- Click Copy to copy the document, or click Preview/Edit to go to the Copy dialog for more copy options.
To copy only a portion of the photo or document, follow the instructions in Cropping photos using Auto-crop or Cropping photos manually.
