Allen Waugerman is senior vice president and chief technology officer for Lexmark International. He was named to this position in November 2016 and is responsible for Lexmark’s global research and development operations. In June 2017, Waugerman was named to a management team to lead Lexmark during the search for a new chief executive officer.
Previously, Waugerman served as vice president and general manager of worldwide annuities marketing and sales for Lexmark’s former Imaging Solutions and Services division for five years. In that role, he was responsible for the marketing and sales of aftermarket supplies and services offerings. Before that, he served as general manager of small workgroup laser products.
Waugerman has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991, holding various staff and management positions. He began his career with IBM in 1989, where he worked on a number of manufacturing and printer development projects.
Waugerman holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky.
