The Lexmark Equipment Collection Programme (LECP) is a free collection programme for electronic equipment, including printers that have reached the end of their usable life. In selected markets, the programme also includes options to refurbish devices for reuse where appropriate.

This programme does not apply to warranty issues for Lexmark printers. For warranty exchange or service for a printer still under warranty, please follow the instructions included with the product.

Compliance process

Lexmark or its direct representatives finance a national collective scheme. All products with electronic content are labelled as per WEEE specifications and follow the European Standard EN50419.
