Media and Analyst Relations Manager 

The Media and Analyst relations manager oversees execution of  Lexmark Thought Leadership deliverables to position Lexmark as a visionary in IoT, Digital Transformation and delivering business outcomes to customers - highlighting today's innovations and the company's future vision. 

This role works closely with the program manager, subject matter experts, messaging strategists, internal resources in marketing (creative services, web, social media) and external PR and marketing agencies to create and promote engaging content. Ideal candidates will have a technology background with excellent writing and communication skills. 


  • Collaborate and coordinate with members of the company to craft thought leadership columns for use on owned media sites and on other third-party executive council sites  

  • Develop infographics, video content, ebooks and podcasts to enhance thought leadership positioning 

  • Coordinate with internal web team, social media team and external agencies to publish and promote Thought Leadership content  

  • Review and edit media pitches, responses to media inquiries, and SME talking points for interview prep 

  • Collaborate and coordinate with SMEs to develop relevant award submissions (ex. CIO 100, FutureEdge 50, Manufacturing Leadership). Develop and execute communications plan for award wins including press releases, blog posts, social media content and internal communications 

  • Monitor research, blogs and social media content from key analysts and prepare appropriate action plans as needed. (ie, identify statistics or quotes to use in thought leadership or marketing deliverables, social media share or retweet opportunities, Lexmark POV articles) 

  • Coordinate review/approval process with analysts citations departments 

  • Identify analyst content to license, manage and negotiate report licensing, and promote licensed reports 

  • Support analyst engagement strategy with presentation and messaging support 

Qualifications Desired in a Successful Candidate: 

This role requires excellent critical thinking and project management skills. The right candidate will be a creative, resourceful and strategic thinker with a passion for the creative marketing process. 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience required 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in developing communication strategies 

  • Strong presentation, writing/positioning and editing skills 

  • Confidence in engaging with executives 

  • Understanding of technology trends and strategies related to IoT and digital transformation  

  • Hands on experience in creating, editing and promoting content 

  • Internal communications experience 

  • Global marketing or communications experience - a strong plus
