In an ever-changing technology landscape, it’s imperative to not lose sight of who’s actually using new devices – customers.

Since our founding, Lexmark has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation — always centred on customers and our vision to help them make a lasting impression on their world. We’re excited to continue setting the standard for excellence in printing technology with the launch of the new Lexmark 9-Series – reimagining print for our customers with a solution designed to be versatile, simple, and sustainable.

With customers and partners at the core of Lexmark’s technology advancements, the new 9-Series of A3 printers and MFPs (multifunction products) is designed to boost workplace productivity. As with all Lexmark hardware, these devices help keep the modern business running with exceptional reliability, industry-leading durability, and long-lasting toner and supplies to effortlessly create anything your business requires and beyond.

And the 9-Series takes it another step further.

At a glance, the new product line is focused on:

  • Versatility: Broad media handling, high-volume printing and an array of finishing options mean that whatever your business requires, the 9-Series can handle it.
  • Simplicity: Thanks to intuitive interfaces and simple instructions, users can get their work done quicker. And thanks to fewer parts and single-layer components, they can manage and service their devices with ease, saving time and resources better spent elsewhere.
  • Sustainability: The 9-Series’ total post-consumer recycled (PCR) content is 56% by weight for all base-model MFPs and 73% by weight for the line’s base-model printer, based on IEEE calculation procedures.* The space-saving, energy-efficient design helps reduce the carbon footprint. The 9-Series is designed and built to last seven years or more. The entire line of devices has received ENERGY STAR® certification.

More than that, the 9-Series is purpose-built with your security in mind. With security threats on the rise, customers can have peace of mind knowing they are protected by the industry’s most comprehensive security portfolio, right out of the box.

Furthermore, the 9-Series brings advanced A4 technology into a powerful A3 device. Whereas print manufacturers traditionally minimise complex A3 technology for smaller A4 devices, Lexmark uniquely designed the 9-Series to further scale its renowned A4 technology to take on even the most demanding printing tasks. The 9-Series brings the simplicity and ease of use Lexmark’s A4 devices are known for into a highly sophisticated A3 device, with hundreds of fewer parts compared to existing A3 print engines.

All of this is possible because Lexmark prides itself on delivering technology innovations that make our customers’ lives easier – from launching the industry’s first colour printer-fax-copier-scanner combo in 1995 to pioneering managed print services in 1999; from investing and becoming a leader in cloud technology to designing our devices to be part of the Internet of Things before it was even a thing.

Lexmark has a rich history, with roots from the 1950s manufacturing IBM typewriters. While the technology landscape has evolved significantly since then, maintaining our customer-first vision has remained central to what Lexmark does. From our blue-chip heritage to becoming a global leader in MPS, sustainability, security and print transformation with customers around the world, our journey is one of continuous adaptation and transformation. At the end of the day, supporting our customers and helping them get the most out of their devices is central to what we do.

*PCR content measured in accordance with IEEE Std 1680.2a™ - 2017 Standard for Environmental Assessment of Imaging Equipment - Amendment 1 — which is the standard used by EPEAT.
