JOB FUNCTION

Reporting to the Northern Europe Field Marketing Manager, the Benelux/SAF Field Marketing Manager is accountable for managing and executing the global, EMEA, Northern and local Channel and Enterprise marketing plans for Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and South Africa.

 

The Benelux/SAF Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, co-ordination, communication, management and execution of the following activities (including but not limited to):

 

Demand generation campaigns, organizing events, co-partner marketing, channel and end user advertising, promotions, PR & social media, communications, budget management and ROI reporting.

 

 

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

  • Plan and project manage field marketing initiatives, to completion, for the BNL and SAF countries. Optimising these local plans through cross-functional collaboration with Global, EMEA and Northern region Marketing teams, as well as leveraging our Shared Services support team in Budapest for creative, digital, activation and administrative support, and liaising with our Public Relations team and Demand Generation digital marketing teams, and more.

 

  • Deliver ongoing marketing support for the BNL / SAF Channel, Enterprise & Annuities sales teams by creating, executing, and communicating yearly and quarterly Demand Generation marketing plans aligned to the EMEA Field Marketing and Benelux/SAF priorities as defined by FM leadership and stakeholder priorities.

 

  • Work closely with Enterprise Account Managers and Industry Consultants, create, manage and implement local campaigns and activities to successfully promote Lexmark’s key messages, products, services and solutions to key customers and target prospects (TR ON contacts) to drive demand for Lexmark products and services, using a wide variety of tactics to support. When possible, create these campaigns with the ability to scale across the wider Northern or EMEA region.

 

  • Work closely with Channel Account Managers and strategic partners (e.g. Business Solution Partners, Commercial Partners and Distributors), to support the creation, management and implementation of co-partner marketing plans to successfully promote Lexmark’s key messages, products, services and solutions to drive sales.

 

  • Project manage the planning and on-site execution of relevant events, either virtually or direct, such as trade shows, partner events, customer hospitality events (or any other types of events) with the goal of providing the sales team with opportunities to gain new business and/or grow existing business. 

 

  • Develop ongoing, active relationships with the relevant in country sales leaders to understand the commercial focus for the year and to identify value-add, effective  marketing activity solutions. Aligned to these plans establish measurable KPIs and follow through to ensure these goals and expectations are being met.

 

  • Offer innovative ways to approach marketing activities in order to add value and to suggest alternative approaches to solving a business challenge through marketing solutions.

 

  • Accountable for tracking the defined KPIs for marketing initiatives and reporting to management on a regular cadence.

 

  • Develop robust knowledge of products, solutions and services offered by Lexmark. Coordinate product launch activities to support local sales initiatives.

 

  • Work closely with your allocated Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) based in our Budapest Shared Services Centre to provide detailed project activation briefs for the delivery of local and central projects. These briefs will cover creative, copy, digital and more.

 

  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with vendors related to adding value and with the utmost attention for detail and excellence.

 

  • Accurately manage and track budget, in multiple currencies where necessary.

 

  • Track all expenses in an organised fashion.

 

  • Provide local PR support/facilitation in conjunction with local PR agencies for Channel & Enterprise related content and Social Media posts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.). In agreement and as per the global SOW and global PR team processes.

 

  • Periodic travel required (around 10-20%) when permitted within Benelux / EMEA. Travel to South Africa is not in scope.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years related B2B marketing experience
  • Channel Marketing Experience preferred
  • Demonstrate brand awareness yet also be customer-centric
  • Effective presentation skills, in-person or via webinar
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • EMEA / multi-country experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and lead projects
  • Delivery of measurable campaign and marketing activities
  • Project management and cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Budget management

 

 

SKILLS

  • Fluent in Dutch and English. (Flemish / French would be a nice-to-have)
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite platform (D365 would be beneficial)
