Coop Norway has chosen Lexmark’s Publishing Platform for Retail (PPR) to replace its current signage processes across all 1,234 stores and manage content creation for both print and digital signage. Coop Norway are at the forefront of enabling store colleagues to manage daily tasks from hand-held terminals from the shop-floor.
Rolf Wathne, Head of Retail IT for Store Operations at Coop Norway said “None of the other vendors in the market could offer such flexibility, fast response times, and deep retail expertise. Store colleagues particularly like the mobile application and the ease of use to print local signs and request centrally generated signs whilst keeping these in sync with Electronic Shelf Labels.”
“PPR provides a flexible solution to handle content and data from multiple sources to automate print and digital signage, which is ideal for retailers with many brands and frequent product and price changes,” said David Jenkins, director of Sales, retail signage solutions at Lexmark. "Our mission has always been to help provide retailers with tools to enhance the in-store experience for their customers, improve compliance and accuracy of print and digital media, and help retailers sell more and be more efficient.”
Lexmark will feature its retail signage solutions, along with other retail-specific printing solutions at NRF 2020: Retail’s Big Show in New York City, Jan. 12 to 14, 2020.
