Elkjøp selects Lexmark signage software to manage retail signage across all Nordic stores

Stockholm, SE - 11th November, 2019

Elkjøp Nordic AS has chosen Lexmark’s Publishing Platform for Retail (PPR) to manage content for creating both printed signs and labels, replacing its current signage solution across all 400+ stores. As the leading electrical retailer in the region, Elkjøp needed a solution that could handle multiple languages, currencies and complex templates using images, detailed product descriptions, features, and attributes.

Oddbjørn Erlimo Lønnas, Manager of IT Supporting Services at Elkjøp Nordic AS said “The Lexmark solution demonstrated great flexibility in automating the creation of content the stores need from the corporate head offices as well providing a mobile application which helps store colleagues work efficiently when creating and managing signs on demand from the shop-floor.”

David Jenkins, Director of Sales – Retail Signage Solutions at Lexmark, said “The Publishing Platform for Retail provides an enterprise class solution to handle the complex data and formatting common in electronics retail. The distribution of images and enhanced product content are automated to provide central control and perfect branding across different countries.” He added: "Our mission has always been to help provide retailers with tools to enhance the in-store experience for their customers, improve compliance and accuracy of print and digital media, and help retailers sell more and reduce costs.”

Lexmark will feature its retail signage solutions, along with other retail-specific printing solutions at NRF 2020: Retail’s Big Show in New York City,  Jan. 12
